1.Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Business or related field.
2.Good mathematical and I.T skills.
3.3-5 years of GCC experience as payroll manager in Construction Company.
4.Work experience in web based payroll system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Oversee and supervise activities of payroll staff, including supervisor and payroll accountants.
2.Critically evaluate current payroll, benefits and tax procedures in order to recommend improve payroll policies and procedures.
3.Work closely with HR department in designing effective and legal overtime usage and payments.
4.Responsible to ensure monthly payroll process (including pre-payroll) is running effectively, accurately and timely as per pre-defined timelines.
5.Act as the main point of contact for internal & external payroll audits. Support the different audit processes (Internal, External, and Government) by generating the necessary audit reports. Responsible to resolve all audit finding within the agreed timeframe.
6.Liaising with management and staff regarding pay enquiries.
7.Liaise with HR regarding new hires, terminations, remuneration and conditions of service.
8.Ensure the payroll processing of new hires, temp workers, transfers, promotions and terminations are accurate and timely.
9.Analyze variations in the company’s monthly salary and prepare the reports.
10.Oversee and ensure the effective handling of employee advance payments as per the company policies and relevant recovery plan are in place.
11.Ensure that company benefit programs are managed and administer efficiently and effectively.
12.Coordinate and ensure all compensation and payroll related activities are undertaken correctly and timely when an employee is separated.
13.Ensuring the proper pass of payments and deductions in the staff account ledger.
14.Liaise & Communicate actively with HR, Finance, Accounts and other departments.
15.Ensure system is updated to reflect current employee base, including wages, benefits, sick and vacation time.
16.Administer regular preparation of relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, benefit deductions, etc.)
17.Verify and upload WPS (Wages Protection System) file online to bank for Ministry of Labor confirmation.
18.Provide timely response to all queries escalated from various departments.
